Bravo Hits Pause on The Real Housewives of Miami
The latest season of the reality series Real Housewives of Miami (RHOM) concluded on October 16, 2025, amid disappointing ratings, even though it remains a favorite among fans.
The pause of RHOM is a familiar situation for longtime Bravo viewers, recalling a similar experience in 2013 when production was indefinitely halted after three seasons. During that time, the network did not officially announce a cancellation, which is common practice for Bravo.
Despite the hiatus, fan demand for the Miami franchise persisted, leading to its revival in 2021 when Peacock revived the show, producing two seasons. It subsequently returned to Bravo for Season 6 in 2023, airing two additional seasons.

The most recent cast of RHOM featured Alexia Nepola, Larsa Pippen, Lisa Hochstein, Guerdy Abraira, Julia Lemigova, and Stephanie Shojaee, along with friends Adriana de Moura, Marysol Patton, and Kiki Barth.
As the show pauses, a lawsuit has emerged, filed by Alexia Nepola’s husband, Todd Nepola. He accuses Bravo, NBCUniversal Media, and Purveyors of Pop Productions of defamation and of using his name to promote false storylines. Todd Nepola, who appeared on the show since its revival in 2021, did not participate in the most recent season due to an estrangement from Alexia Nepola.
