Brandy to Receive Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame
LOS ANGELES – Grammy Award-winning artist and actress Brandy is set to receive the 2,839th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this month, recognizing her significant contributions to R&B and her pioneering roles in television and film. The star will be unveiled on Monday, March 30, at 11:30 a.m. PT.
The ceremony will take place at 6201 Hollywood Boulevard, directly in front of Arrive Hollywood. Sibley Scoles will emcee the event, which will feature guest speakers including actress and producer Issa Rae and renowned music producer Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds.
Brandy’s career spans over three decades and includes notable achievements such as her Diamond-certified album "Never Say Never" and the historic 13-week No. 1 hit "The Boy Is Mine." With over 40 million records sold worldwide, she has firmly established herself as a force in the music industry.
Her impact is also felt on the screen, notably through her role in the popular sitcom "Moesha" and as the first African American actress to portray Cinderella in Disney’s 1997 television adaptation. Most recently, in 2026, she received the Black Music Icon Award from the Recording Academy.
Ana Martinez, producer of the Walk of Fame, expressed enthusiasm for honoring Brandy, stating, "Brandy has captivated audiences for decades with a voice and artistry that helped shape modern R&B and inspire generations of performers.
