Bradley Cooper Opens Up About Plastic Surgery Speculations
Bradley Cooper Addresses Plastic Surgery Speculation on "Smartless" Podcast
Bradley Cooper has responded to ongoing speculation regarding his appearance, acknowledging the compliments he has recently received. Speaking on the "Smartless" podcast, Cooper noted, “I get people [coming] up to me the last couple of weeks… They’re like, ‘Oh, you look good!’”
The Oscar-nominated actor made his remarks during the January 5 episode while co-host Will Arnett recalled a previous inquiry about what the public might not know about Cooper. Arnett then mentioned the rampant rumors surrounding alleged plastic surgery, asserting, “What people don’t know is that he hasn’t. Of course, he hasn’t.” He expressed frustration about the misconceptions, stating, “You know you read that bulls–t stuff.”
Co-host Jason Bateman humorously chimed in, speaking about his own cosmetic procedures, jokingly saying he’s been “cut to ribbons.” This lighthearted banter came amid discussions about societal perceptions of appearance and the judgment that often accompanies it.
Rumors regarding Cooper’s appearance began circulating in late 2025 during promotional events for his film "Is This Thing On?" As social media users noted what they perceived as changes in his looks, the actor has also undergone a significant transformation for his role as composer Leonard Bernstein in "Maestro," further fueling speculation about cosmetic enhancements.
Cooper, 51, who shares an 8-year-old daughter, Lea De Seine, with ex-partner Irina Shayk, is currently linked to model Gigi Hadid. A source recently indicated that Cooper is serious about Hadid, suggesting he has taken steps toward a marriage proposal, having asked Yolanda Hadid for her daughter’s hand.
As speculation continues, the dialogue surrounding Cooper’s appearance highlights broader topics of societal standards and the pressures faced by individuals in the public eye.
