Body Discovered in South LA Alley Sparks Homicide Investigation
Man Found Shot to Death in South Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES – A homicide investigation is underway following the discovery of a body in a South Los Angeles alley late Sunday night.
Authorities from the Los Angeles Police Department reported that a passerby called 911 shortly before midnight to report an unconscious man in an alley close to the intersection of Broadway and West 41st Street in the Historic South-Central neighborhood.
When emergency responders arrived at the scene, the man was pronounced dead. A witness, speaking on condition of anonymity, reported hearing a gunshot around midnight.
