Body Discovered in Submerged Vehicle Following Storm in Lancaster
LANCASTER, Calif. – A man’s body was found in a partially submerged car on Friday morning, following significant flooding in an isolated area of Lancaster.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department’s aerial crews located a blue sedan around 9:45 a.m. near the intersection of 58th Street East and Avenue H-10. The vehicle was hidden from view due to the terrain and extensive floodwaters.
Deputies from the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station arrived at the scene and discovered the body of a male adult inside the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the site.
Details surrounding the incident remain unclear, including the identity of the deceased and the cause of death. Authorities have not confirmed whether the man’s death is connected to the storm that caused the flooding.
