Blue Ivy Shines at the Lakers Game with Jay-Z in a Chic Outfit
Blue Ivy Carter Reveals Style Evolution at Lakers Game
Blue Ivy Carter, the 13-year-old daughter of Beyoncé and Jay-Z, showcased her growing style similar to her mother while attending a Los Angeles Lakers game with her father on December 10. The duo drew attention as they enjoyed the matchup against the San Antonio Spurs.
Sporting a striking black oversized leather jacket by Balenciaga, Blue Ivy complemented her look with denim cargo pants from The Attico and a crystal-embellished handbag from Diesel. Her footwear—a pair of red and black wedge sneakers from Sabel Marant—evoked nostalgia, echoing a pair Beyoncé wore in 2013.
"She gave fans a major throwback," noted a source, referring to the style similarities between mother and daughter. Blue Ivy enhanced her outfit with gold hoop earrings and layered necklaces, adding a touch of elegance.
Her makeup was artfully applied, featuring a dewy base with bronzed cheeks, silver eyeshadow, soft winged eyeliner, and glossy lips. Blue Ivy wore her hair straight, parted in the middle, with lightly curled ends, adding to her polished appearance.
Seated beside her father, Jay-Z, who was dressed in a black crewneck and long pants, the rapper was seen enthusiastically cheering for the Lakers, despite their loss against the Spurs, finishing at 132-119.
Jay-Z’s ensemble included an embellished leather bomber jacket adorned with "Las Vegas" in colorful threads, highlighting the skyline of the city. He also brought along his younger daughter, Rumi, who matched his stylish look with her own embellished jacket.
The public spotlight on Blue Ivy is not new. Earlier this year, she made headlines attending an NFL game, where she sported a letterman jacket, dark cargo jeans, and a black tee. It’s clear that Blue Ivy is carving her niche in the fashion world, making her mark alongside her famous parents.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z, who began dating in 2001 and married in 2008, welcomed Blue Ivy in 2012. The couple later had twins, Rumi and Sir, in 2017, creating a family that continues to captivate the public’s interest.
