Billy Magnussen, Jamie Lynn Sigler, and Sofia Hasmik to Join the Cast for Season 3 of ‘Tires’
Netflix’s Tires Welcomes Six New Recurring Cast Members for Season Three
Netflix’s comedy series Tires has announced the addition of six new actors to its upcoming third season. The new cast members include Billy Magnussen (Black Mirror), Jamie Lynn Sigler (Big Sky), Taylor Misiak (Going Dutch), Sofia Hasmik (The Pitt), Dan Soder (Billions), and Bobby Lee (Mad TV).
The series, co-created, written, and executive produced by Shane Gillis, centers on Will (Steven Gerben), an anxious heir to an auto repair chain who strives to revitalize his father’s struggling business. His efforts are complicated by the antics of his cousin and now employee, Shane (Gillis).
In the second season, the duo grapples with the ramifications of their unexpected marketing success, pushing them to grow both personally and professionally, often without fully understanding the challenges involved.
While no logline for Season Three has been disclosed, the recently announced recurring characters will play pivotal roles in the forthcoming episodes.
Dan Soder portrays Frank, a classic car collector who relies on Cal (Chris O’Connor) for vehicle maintenance. Sofia Hasmik takes on the role of Lucy, a sharp-witted bartender whose carefree lifestyle and progressive views clash with Shane’s rigid persona, despite their growing attraction. Billy Magnussen plays Taylor, a self-made entrepreneur whose charm and high confidence make a striking impression.
Bobby Lee features as Ricky, a chaotic executive at a tire company who often abuses his position as the boss’s son. Taylor Misiak plays Jill, Shane’s former high school girlfriend, whose reconnection stirs up old chemistry and banter.
Details regarding Jamie Lynn Sigler’s character remain under wraps.
Gillis, Gerben, and John McKeever serve as the creators and writers for the series, with McKeever also directing. Executive producers include Brandon James of Rough House, along with Brian Stern and Kenneth Slotnick of AGI Entertainment Media & Management, and Becky Astphan.
As the show prepares for a new season, the introduction of these characters promises to add fresh dynamics to the ongoing storylines.
