Beta Film Partners with Enteractive for Content Management
Beta Film has announced a partnership with Enteractive, a technology company that will take over the technical management of its content library. This includes popular series such as Babylon Berlin and Gomorrah, as well as acclaimed films like The Lives of Others and System Crasher.
As the television distribution landscape continues to evolve, it presents a complex array of needs for producers and distributors. Enteractive, a division of the Splendid Group, will manage services including archiving, packaging, distribution, metadata management, editing, and subtitling. Their services will be implemented through the TODOS platform, which also includes analysis and reporting capabilities.
Based in Germany, Beta Film has recently returned from the Series Mania festival and actively participates in major film and television markets. As a large producer-distributor, it faces intricate challenges regarding content management.
Stephan Katzmann, Chief Financial Officer of Beta Film, expressed enthusiasm regarding the collaboration, stating, "We are very pleased about the collaboration with Enteractive and look forward to entrusting our programs to their expertise. Enteractive is one of the leading companies in the field of content management services, both nationally and internationally. We greatly value this partnership and the shared potential for the future."
In recent developments, Beta Film has been leveraging new technology, notably partnering with AI start-up Chapter41 and collaborating with the prestigious Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg on an initiative aimed at integrating artificial intelligence into next-generation film and television production.
