Bad Bunny and J Balvin joined forces on December 21, 2025, for a memorable performance during the final show of Bad Bunny’s Mexico City stop on his Debí Tirar Más Fotos World Tour. The concert took place at GNP Seguros Stadium and highlighted a significant reunion between the two reggaeton stars.
As the crowd erupted with excitement, Bad Bunny surprised fans by inviting Balvin on stage. Together, they performed a series of hits including “La Canción,” “Que Pretendes,” “Si Tu Novio Te Deja Sola,” and “I Like It.” This marked their first on-stage collaboration since 2021, drawing an enthusiastic response from attendees.
Reflecting on the reunion, Balvin, whose real name is José Osorio Balvín, appeared thrilled as he stepped onto the stage during Bad Bunny’s rendition of “La Canción.” The pair’s reconciliation followed a period of speculation regarding their relationship, particularly after Bad Bunny’s 2023 song “Thunder Y Lightning,” in which he referenced Balvin, suggesting a rift.
In response to the song’s lyrics, Balvin stated during an Instagram Live, “I don’t understand what was going through his head, but well — the guy I know is a good person.” The stage encounter transformed previous tension into camaraderie, as the artists embraced and exchanged heartfelt words.
“I’m so proud of Benito Ocasio Martinez for what he’s doing, for what he represents,” Balvin shared on stage. He expressed admiration for Bad Bunny’s contributions to the Latin music scene, emphasizing the positive impact he has made globally. “Today, I want to tell you that I admire you, that I love you and your family… May God bless them and keep blessing them. The past is the past, but we’re men that have matured… and we forgive each other always,” Balvin added.
In addition to Balvin, Mexican rapper Natanel Cano also made an appearance during the event, performing “Soy el Diablo Remix” on the La Casita stage, designed to resemble a traditional Puerto Rican home.
Bad Bunny’s tour will continue throughout 2026, covering South America, Australia, Asia, and Europe. While there are currently no planned stops in the United States, Bad Bunny is set to headline the Super Bowl LX Halftime Show in February, promising to deliver an unforgettable performance.
