Authorities Search for Men in Ski Masks After Burglary Attempt at Glendale Residence
Police Investigate Attempted Break-In in Glendale Neighborhood
A Glendale neighborhood experienced a significant disturbance late Friday night as two men attempted to break into a residence. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. near the intersection of Sweetbriar and Swarthmore Drives, according to the Glendale Police Department.
During the attempted break-in, the suspects, wearing ski masks, used a firearm to shatter the rear glass door of the home. However, they were reportedly startled by an unknown factor and fled the scene in a black vehicle before gaining entry.
Authorities have not confirmed whether anyone was inside the house at the time of the incident, nor if the suspects successfully accessed the property. The police are actively investigating the situation as an attempted residential burglary.
