Atreyu Shares Exciting News: New Album and Single “All for You” Now Available to Stream
Atreyu has officially announced the release of their upcoming album, The End Is Not the End, set to debut on April 24th. To build anticipation, the band has unveiled a new single titled "All for You."
In discussing "All for You," the band shared insights on its theme, stating, "It’s hard to give someone what they want or need when they don’t know what that thing is. It’s hard to love someone who doesn’t love themselves." This track showcases Atreyu’s melodic side, with frontman Brandon Saller melding clean vocals with powerful screams.
This new single follows the earlier releases of "Dead" and "Ego Death." Regarding their recording experience in Washington state, Saller noted, “We didn’t leave the house for four days and wrote some of the heaviest songs on the record.” The forthcoming album is expected to feature the track “Children of Light,” which includes contributions from thrash-metal icon Max Calavera (Soulfly, ex-Sepultura). Saller described the album as “the heaviest, most metal record we’ve made,” emphasizing its significance as their most extensive musical journey in years.
Produced by Matt Pauling, the album was developed during trips to Japan and Washington, which contributed to its diverse sound. Saller reflected on the band’s unique evolution, saying, “We didn’t really make sense anywhere. We weren’t an emo band, a metal band, a punk band — but somehow it all worked. We kind of just carved our own path.”
To support the album, Atreyu will embark on a spring US tour, joining Sevendust starting on April 20th in Indianapolis and concluding on May 20th in Knoxville, Tennessee.
