Ashley Iaconetti Shares Her Thoughts on How ‘RHORI’ Might Affect Her Marriage to Jared Haibon
Ashley Iaconetti Comments on Relationship Amid "Real Housewives of Rhode Island"
Ashley Iaconetti, known for her time on reality television, expressed confidence that her marriage to Jared Haibon will remain unaffected by their upcoming appearance on The Real Housewives of Rhode Island. In an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, Iaconetti stated, “I know that since we’ve been through the spotlight together, that neither of us are going to feel affected by it. We have been under the spotlight together. This isn’t going to be a new thing.”
The couple, both alumni of Bachelor Nation, have navigated the challenges of public scrutiny in the past. Iaconetti remarked, “I just think that’s nice that we’re not gonna have a new thing thrown at our relationship.” She emphasized their shared experience and understanding, stating, “We, honestly, know how to navigate it pretty well. It’s our foundation. I would say we kind of know how this is gonna go. We know we have our priorities in line, for sure.”
Ashley and Jared, who married in August 2019 after a tumultuous journey on Bachelor in Paradise, currently reside in Rhode Island with their two children, Dawson, 4, and Hayden, 20 months. Reflecting on her experiences in the spotlight, Ashley noted, “We’re very grateful for having previous experience when jumping into this. I cannot imagine starting to get a spotlight on me in my late 30s.”
The upcoming season of RHORI will showcase aspects of their lives previously unseen by fans, particularly focusing on their business, Audrey’s Coffee House & Lounge. Ashley described the café as a labor of love for Jared, stating, “It’s always a debate on whether it’s worth keeping because it’s really about his happiness.”
The opportunity to share their story was too significant to decline, according to Ashley. New cast member Jo-Ellen Tiberi also shared her own concerns about joining the show, specifically regarding the potential impact on her family. “Gary and I talked a lot about our family. That’s our No. 1 focus,” she said, emphasizing her desire to protect their children from any teasing that might arise.
In contrast, cast member Rosie DiMare reflected on her decision to participate, suggesting she should have had more discussions with her husband, Rich, about the implications of appearing on the show.
The Real Housewives of Rhode Island is set to premiere on Bravo on April 2, with a second episode following on April 5. New episodes will be available on Sundays, streaming the following day on Peacock.
