Anvil Shares Exciting Plans for Their 2026 Summer Tour Across North America
Canadian heavy metal icons Anvil have announced their upcoming summer tour across North America set for 2026.
The tour is scheduled to kick off in Rochester, New York, on June 3, and will travel through major cities including Chicago, Las Vegas, and Seattle. The series of concerts is slated to conclude on July 11 in Toledo, Ohio. Tickets for select dates are available through Ticketmaster.
Titled the “Pounding the Past” tour, Anvil will perform tracks primarily from their first three albums: 1981’s Hard ‘n’ Heavy, 1982’s Metal on Metal, and 1983’s Forged in Fire, along with additional songs spanning their career.
Joining them for all performances will be Midnite Hellion, a New Jersey heavy metal band that embodies a traditional sound aligning with Anvil’s style, bridging the gap between the New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM) and early thrash metal.
