Andy Cohen Shares His Surprising Thoughts on Amanda Batula and West Wilson’s Relationship at the Summer House Reunion
While cameras for Summer House may not be capturing the developing romance between Amanda Batula and West Wilson, host Andy Cohen has expressed his curiosity about their relationship.
In a recent interview, Cohen revealed that he was “surprised” by the couple’s joint statement regarding their relationship, and he anticipates asking them several questions during the upcoming Season 10 reunion special.
“I will say that I saw a lot of conspiracy theories online yesterday that I somehow knew about this,” he told John Hill on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live. “I did not.”
Cohen expressed his empathy for Ciara Miller, a close friend of Batula’s who previously dated Wilson. Notably, Batula and Kyle Cooke announced their divorce in January after a marriage that began in 2021, following their relationship since the show’s premiere in 2017.
After reviewing Batula and Wilson’s statement, Cohen remarked, “I was surprised by what it said. And I was surprised by what it didn’t say. I have so many questions, and the reunion is coming up, and, boy, do I have a lot of questions.”
Following weeks of speculation, the couple confirmed their relationship in a recent joint statement. “We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what’s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected. Our connection grew out of a genuine, long-standing friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach,” they stated.
In their statement, Batula and Wilson added, “As our feelings evolved, we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling. We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless.”
