Andrew Garfield Shows Off a Fresh New Look with Shaggy Blond Hair and a Clean-Shaven Face
Andrew Garfield Debuts New Look in Las Vegas
Actor Andrew Garfield was recently spotted flaunting a new look—a long, shaggy blond hairstyle—while enjoying a night out in Las Vegas. This transformation featured a clean-shaven appearance, contrasting sharply with his usual brunette locks and facial hair.
The 42-year-old actor, known for his role as Spider-Man, showcased his fresh style in a backstage photo taken after attending a performance of the iconic magic duo Penn and Teller. He was accompanied by his rumored girlfriend, Monica Barbaro.
“Great to have #andrewgarfield and @monicabarbaro at the show @riovegas over the weekend!” said a caption posted on Instagram by Penn and Teller, highlighting the couple’s appearance at the event.
In the photograph, Garfield’s blond hair peeked out from under a blue baseball cap, his trademark facial hair notably absent. Wearing a tan hoodie layered over a white T-shirt, Garfield wore a broad smile alongside Barbaro, who donned a cream-colored blouse and hoop earrings.
Garfield’s hairstyle marks a significant change for the actor, who typically showcases darker hair and facial hair. His last clean-shaven look was noticed ahead of the 2025 Venice Film Festival. He later sported a similar style at the London premiere of After the Hunt in October of that year.
The romance between Garfield and Barbaro, known for her role in Top Gun: Maverick, was first noted in January 2025 at a W Magazine party in Los Angeles. Their public outings continued to attract attention, particularly when they attended a performance of Jonathan Bailey’s Richard II in London’s West End and later the Vanity Fair Oscar Party.
“They’ve been really low-key and have been spending time together quietly,” an insider stated to People in February 2025, emphasizing the couple’s desire for privacy amid their budding relationship.
Around that time, Barbaro expressed her excitement over receiving her first Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Joan Baez in A Complete Unknown, alongside Timothée Chalamet. She indicated that her Top Gun: Maverick co-stars were thrilled for her, stating, “Our group chat just blew up.”
As their relationship progresses, Garfield’s reticence about his personal life remains steadfast. He previously remarked, “I have never, and I won’t ever, speak about or confirm or deny anything about my personal life with anyone. Ever,” during an interview with Esquire in October 2024.
As the pair continue to share moments in the public eye, including their recent outing at the Las Vegas magic show, fans are left wondering what the future holds for the couple.
