On November 27, the actress celebrated the holiday by posting a series of throwback photos on Instagram, showcasing her Thanksgiving celebrations from previous years. Among these images was a rare snapshot of her life as a mother, featuring her daughter Oonagh, now 4, seated in a highchair at a table filled with traditional holiday dishes, including two turkeys and roasted vegetables.

In another image, Oonagh wore a colorful bib while her mother served her a small portion of food.

Additional photos within the post depict Heard, 39, cooking at the stove and enjoying moments in the kitchen with family and friends, while a refrigerator in the background is adorned with Polaroid snapshots of cherished memories.

In her caption, Heard expressed, “Thanksgiving cheers over the years. A look back at all the full hearts and plates I’ve shared,” adding, “Hoping you are well topped up on both this year.”

Heard’s family continues to grow; she quietly welcomed her firstborn child, Oonagh, in April 2021.

In July 2021, Heard announced Oonagh’s birth on Instagram, where she outlined her personal journey to motherhood. She stated, “Four years ago, I decided I wanted to have a child. I wanted to do it on my own terms. I now appreciate how radical it is for us as women to think about one of the most fundamental parts of our destinies in this way. I hope we arrive at a point in which it’s normalized to not want a ring in order to have a crib.”

Heard further reflected on her bond with her daughter, saying, “She’s the beginning of the rest of my life.”

In May 2025, Heard celebrated the expansion of her family with the birth of her twins, son Ocean and daughter Agnes.

At the time, a spokesperson for Heard stated, “Amber is delighted to welcome the twins and complete her family. Mama and babies are enjoying every minute. And Oonagh is happily running the show.”

Heard also announced the joyful news on Instagram, posting a photo of the babies’ tiny feet.

“Mother’s Day 2025 will be one I’ll never forget. This year I am elated beyond words to celebrate the completion of the family I’ve strived to build for years. Reflecting on her journey as a mother, Heard noted, “When I had my first baby girl Oonagh four years ago, my world changed forever. I thought I couldn’t possibly burst with more joy. Well, now I am bursting times three!”

As she did with Oonagh’s birth, Heard emphasized her choice to embrace motherhood independently. “Becoming a mother by myself and on my own terms despite my own fertility challenges has been the most humbling experience of my life,” she remarked. “I am eternally grateful that I was able to choose this responsibly and thoughtfully.”

Last month, Heard provided fans with a glimpse of her Halloween celebrations with her three children. In photos shared on Instagram, the actress was seen in a black witch costume, holding a twin in each arm—one dressed as a spider and the other as a pumpkin.

Big sister Oonagh matched her mother, sporting a witch costume that featured black-and-white striped tights and a tall, pointy hat.
