Amazon Joins Forces with Reality TV Stars for a Fun-Filled Retreat
Amazon is set to launch a new unscripted series featuring some of reality television’s biggest names.
The streaming service has ordered Reality Retreat, a series from Jersey Shore creator SallyAnn Salsano. The show will feature alumni from popular programs such as The Real Housewives, Selling Sunset, Vanderpump Rules, and The Chrisleys.
Scheduled to premiere next year, the series will take eleven prominent women from the reality TV landscape to a wellness retreat aimed at exploring themes of identity, relationships, and personal growth.
The cast includes former Housewives figures such as Kenya Moore from Atlanta, Margaret Josephs from New Jersey, and Kim Zolciak also from Atlanta. Additionally, Selling Sunset’s Christine Quinn, Vanderpump Rules star Brittany Cartwright, and Braxton Family Values’ Tamar Braxton will also participate. Other notable cast members include The Bachelorette’s Kaitlyn Bristowe, Jenn Tran, Julie, and Savannah Chrisley, as well as Hilaria Baldwin.
Set against a tropical backdrop, the series will focus on women whose public personas have made them cultural icons and tabloid sensations. Removed from their usual surroundings, they will engage in a transformative experience that emphasizes healing, accountability, and personal evolution. Participants will confront their true selves through rigorous wellness activities, candid discussions, and emotionally charged interactions. As they navigate this journey, old habits may resurface, alliances may fracture, and tensions may escalate, challenging each woman to decide whether to embrace personal growth or return unchanged.
Rick Edwards will serve as the concierge for the retreat, with Ashley Edelman taking on the role of wellness director.
Reality Retreat is produced by 495 Productions, featuring Salsano, Kim Green, and Frank Miccolis as executive producers.
“Great unscripted television starts with bold, authentic personalities — this series brings together an unforgettable group of women audiences are deeply invested in,” said Jenn Levy, Head of Nonfiction Series, Amazon MGM Studios. “By placing them in an environment that strips away expectation and forces real introspection, we’re creating a series that is as emotionally raw as it is entertaining. It’s a wild, honest, and oftentimes hilarious ride about identity, reinvention, and what happens when larger-than-life stars are forced to confront themselves… and each other.”
