Amanda Batula and West Wilson’s Surprising Summer House Update: What’s Next for Bravo?
The Bravoverse is abuzz with news as The Real Housewives of Miami goes on pause. Compounding the intrigue, a scandal involving Summer House is creating a stir among fans.
After weeks of speculation, co-stars Amanda Batula and Westling Wilson confirmed their romantic relationship, leading many to wonder if Bravo cameras would roll again to capture the cast’s reactions.
Viewers are eager for insights into the unfolding drama. Historically, Bravo has responded to similar situations by filming immediate reactions. This practice was evident last season when Paige DeSorbo’s breakup with Craig Conover, as well as Carl Radke’s split from Lindsay Hubbard, were captured on camera.
However, sources have indicated that Bravo is currently not planning to resume filming. The Season 10 reunion, scheduled for mid-April, will offer the cast an opportunity to address these recent developments.

In a joint statement, Batula and Wilson expressed, “We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what’s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected. Our connection grew out of a genuine, long-standing friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach.”
The couple added, “As our feelings evolved, we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling. We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless.”
The announcement has ignited conversation on social media, especially as both individuals had previously denied the rumors. Batula, a fixture on the reality series since its inception in 2017, has often been linked to Kyle Cooke.
Cooke and Batula’s journey has unfolded over ten seasons, detailing their breakups, reconciliations, engagements, and even recent marital challenges, which culminated in an announced separation earlier this year.
Adding complexity to the situation is Wilson’s past relationship with co-star Ciara Miller, who is also a close friend of Batula. In the current season, flirtation appears to exist between Wilson and Miller, especially following their estrangement last summer, initially stemming from Wilson’s uncertainty about his intentions.
Episode 9 of Season 10 features a confrontation between Cooke and Batula, with Wilson stepping in after Cooke makes disparaging remarks about Batula. Rumors of a relationship between Batula and Wilson were further fueled by Wilson’s supportive actions during that tense moment.
Bravo has navigated similar controversies before, most recently with the “Scandoval” incident on Vanderpump Rules. While the show was renewed with the same cast, the visible divisions led to a network decision to reboot the franchise entirely.
Summer House is set to receive its own spinoff later this year, featuring Batula, Cooke, and Lindsay Hubbard on In the City. Although no premiere date has been announced, the series is expected to air after the Season 10 finale. Filmed in the fall of 2025, the show will likely continue to explore Batula and Cooke’s marital challenges, providing viewers the opportunity to analyze potential shifts in their relationship, reminiscent of the intrigue surrounding Vanderpump Rules during its scandalous moments.
