Alton Brown Brings ‘Good Eats’ to YouTube with New Cooking Series and Partnership with Adventure Media
Alton Brown, the renowned creator and host of the Peabody Award-winning Food Network series Good Eats, is making significant strides in the creator economy with the launch of his new cooking show, Alton Brown Cooks Food, on YouTube. The series debuted on November 23 with a Thanksgiving-themed episode that quickly went viral, garnering 1.5 million views within the first 24 hours and now exceeding 2 million views. A second episode was released last week, and plans are in place to expand the series with additional episodic formats and live extensions.
This launch also signifies an expansion for Adventure Media, the management company co-founded in 2022 by Chris von Goetz and James Robins Early. Initially focused on literary representation, Adventure Media has broadened its scope to include talent, sports, broadcasting, and now digital creators.
Brown has established a strong online presence through his culinary content on platforms like Instagram and TikTok, where his videos consistently attract hundreds of thousands of views. He recently completed a 60-city variety show tour titled Alton Brown Live: Last Bite.
Adventure Media aims to enhance Brown’s digital intellectual property, secure brand partnerships, and expand live touring and multi-platform content strategies.
In addition to Good Eats, Brown has gained recognition as the host of Iron Chef America and Cutthroat Kitchen. He is also an accomplished author, having written 10 best-selling books, including the upcoming Food for Thought: Essays and Ruminations, set for release in 2025. He is represented by attorney Joel Behr of Behr Abramson Levy Johnson.
