Alexa Lemieux Shares Heartfelt Post on Instagram After Split from Brennon, Celebrates Her Daughter as Her ‘Whole Heart’
Alexa Lemieux Shares Family Birthday Celebration Following Divorce News
Alexa Lemieux, known for her appearance on Love Is Blind, has made a return to social media after announcing her separation from her husband, Brennon Lemieux. The couple’s split came to light more than a week ago, following four years of marriage.
On December 12, Alexa celebrated her half-sister Emma’s birthday with a heartfelt message on her Instagram Stories, referring to her as “my sweet emmush.” A subsequent photo showed Alexa alongside her daughter, Vienna, which she captioned, “My whole heart.”
Earlier this month, Alexa, 31, disclosed their separation: “After much reflection and many heartfelt conversations, we have made the difficult decision to end our marriage,” read a joint statement issued on December 3. They emphasized the care, respect, and appreciation they have for each other and their shared experiences. “This choice was not made lightly,” they added. The couple expressed a commitment to co-parent their daughter and requested privacy as they transition to their individual paths.
The relationship between Alexa and Brennon, 35, began in an unconventional manner on Love Is Blind season 3, which premiered on Netflix after filming in 2021. The couple got engaged without seeing each other and ultimately married during the season finale, later welcoming their daughter Vienna in 2024.
In November, it was confirmed that Brennon had filed for divorce, citing “conflict of personalities.” His legal documents outlined the challenges in the marriage that hindered any reasonable expectation of reconciliation and requested to maintain ownership of separate property acquired before the marriage. Additionally, he sought a written agreement regarding custody arrangements for Vienna.
In her legal response submitted on December 4, Alexa denied Brennon’s claims and requested a larger portion of their shared estate, attributing the marriage’s end to his alleged wrongdoing.
Before the news of their divorce, Alexa had shared TikTok videos reflecting on hard times, further highlighting the gravity of her personal situation. A particular video she reshared discussed transformation during difficult periods, implying a deep and personal growth process as they concluded this chapter of their lives.
As of now, Brennon has not publicly addressed the separation.
