Alex Cooper Reaches Out to Fans for Dress Suggestions for the 2026 Golden Globes: A New Chapter in Fashion Choices

Alex Cooper is preparing for the 2026 Golden Globes. On January 9, the podcaster, whose show Call Her Daddy is nominated for Best Podcast, reached out to her fans for help in selecting her gown for the prestigious event.

In an Instagram Reel, Cooper, 31, tried on six different dresses, offering her thoughts on each selection. The first was a classic black Gucci dress.

“I don’t know the last time I’ve done a little boob moment,” she said about the gown’s scoop neckline. “I never have my boobs out anymore.”

Her mother, off camera, chimed in with a playful remark: “And they’re real!”

“And they’re real, mom, thanks,” Cooper responded with laughter, adding, “Not that that matters, but, you know.”

The second option was a simple white dress, which Cooper expressed concern over because she felt it might wash her out. She then tried on an off-white ruched dress paired with a matching shawl.

“This is vintage Chanel,” she noted. “I love it, I just don’t know if it’s as much of a statement as the black.”

Flipping up the shawl to adjust her modesty, she added, “And also, we do have boobs, but you don’t see them. We’re very modest here.”

As she continued, Cooper expressed hesitation over another dress of a similar shade. “I feel like I just get washed out in these types of colors, and I do not want to go crazy with the spray tan,” she observed.

The next selection prompted her to announce, “This one’s gonna be a no, unless you guys are obsessed with this one.”

“I just want to come in and be nothing too big,” she said about a cream-colored strapless dress adorned with ruffles.

Finally, Cooper showcased a black Valentino gown with a plunging neckline. “I love it so much,” she admitted, “but you guys, I would need to push my boobs together a little bit. I just don’t know if I would be so stressed the whole night about my boobs. What do you think?”

At the awards show scheduled for January 11, Cooper’s Call Her Daddy competes against other podcasts, including Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard and SmartLess.
