In the heartfelt message, Albert is pictured in the kitchen, wearing a crown, as he bent down to give a kiss to their dog. Behind him, silver balloons spell out his name. Silva captioned the photo, “Happy 13th birthday!” before adding, “Welcome to your teen years. Brace yourself and brace me too 🫣💙.”

Gere and Silva married in a private ceremony in April 2018. They welcomed their son Alexander in February 2019 and another son, James, in April 2020. Their blended family includes Albert, alongside Gere’s adult son, Homer James Jigme, from his previous marriage to Carey Lowell.
Earlier in May, Gere shared a family photo on Instagram showcasing himself, Silva, and their young sons, Alexander and James, as they supported a nonprofit organization. The entire family donned matching hoodies representing Open Arms, an organization dedicated to helping those fleeing conflict or poverty by sea.
The family photo captured a joyful moment, with the parents smiling and the boys turned away from the camera, displaying their matching gear along with the family dog. The post emphasized their commitment to the nonprofit’s mission.
In a previous interview, Silva described Gere as a dedicated father who loves to read stories to their children. “It seems like an idyllic photo, but it’s true. He’s a great dad,” she noted, adding, “The truth is that you are seeing us in our momentum. We are happier than ever,” Gere reflected, stating, “If she is happy, I am happy.”
