Afroman Shares Exciting News About His New Album and 2026 Tour Plans
Afroman Announces New Album Following Legal Victory
Afroman is back in the spotlight after winning a civil lawsuit against the Adams County Sheriff’s Department in Ohio. In light of this renewed interest in his music, the rapper, best known for his hit "Because I Got High," has revealed that his new album, Freedom of Speech, is set for release on April 20th.
The upcoming album consists of 15 tracks, including the title track and “Licc’em Low Lisa.” Additionally, it features celebratory singles such as “Batteram Hymn of the Police Whistleblower,” “Brian Newland Is a Flag,” and “Randy Walters Is a Son of a Bitch.”
The thematic focus of Freedom of Speech addresses the sheriff’s deputies who raided Afroman’s home and subsequently sued him for using footage from his home security in music videos. The album may also include potential bonus tracks like "Judge Jackass Jonathan Help the Pedophile Police Hein" and "Rip Off Statutory R?pe Robert Kicc It Outta Kourt If Your a Kop Klinger," pending completion before the release date.
Currently, Afroman is touring and has added several new dates through July. Fans can check his full concert schedule for more information.
