Adam Rose Joins Cast of Three Upcoming Films
Actor and social media influencer Adam Rose is set to appear in three new films: Searchlight’s Behemoth, directed by Tony Gilroy; Amazon MGM Studios’ rom-com Goodbye Girl, featuring Cole Sprouse and Kiernan Shipka; and Sumerian Pictures’ dark comedy My New Friend Jim, starring Rob Lowe and Keith David.
Behemoth, written and directed by Gilroy, centers on a musician from a musical family who returns to Los Angeles. The film is described as a tribute to the music of cinema and the talent behind it. It features an ensemble cast that includes Pedro Pascal, Will Arnett, Olivia Wilde, and Matthew Lillard.
In Goodbye Girl, directed by Oran Zegman, Shipka plays Jess, a professional heartbreaker hired by a timid bride to dump her fiancé (Sprouse) mere days before their wedding. However, Jess finds herself unexpectedly falling in love. The film, produced by Gulfstream Pictures, is penned by Danielle Hoover and David Monahan, based on a story by Hoover, Monahan, and Jessica Elbaum.
Meanwhile, My New Friend Jim, directed by Ash Avildsen, follows two fathers from different backgrounds who forge an unlikely friendship while searching for a runaway daughter in Reno.
Rose’s impressive career includes over 30 television shows and appearances in Oscar-nominated films such as Up in the Air and The Squid and the Whale. Most recently, he starred in My Weird School, which aired on Paramount and Nickelodeon in December. Rose boasts a substantial social media presence, with more than 30 million followers across various platforms. He is currently in pre-production for his feature directorial debut, 15 Minutes, in which he stars and has also written.
Rose is represented by CAA and Brillstein Entertainment Partners.
