A24 Reveals New Cast Members for Comedy ‘Peaked’
A24’s upcoming comedy Peaked, directed by Molly Gordon with a script by Allie Levitan, has added five cast members in supporting roles. The new additions include Amy Sedaris (Is This Thing On?), Owen Thiele (Adults), Jaya Harper (Roommates), Emil Wakim (Saturday Night Live), and model Alex Consani.
While character details remain undisclosed, Peaked centers on two women who seek to relive their high school glory days during their 10-year reunion.
Gordon and Levitan are starring in the film alongside Emma Mackey, with a notable ensemble featuring Laura Dern, Simone Ashley, Levon Hawke, Mitra Jouhari, Gabby Windey, and Connor Storrie. A24 is financing the project, produced by Gordon, David Hinojosa, Zach Nutman, and executive produced by Levitan.
Sedaris, a WGA Award winner and Emmy nominee, collaborated with Gordon previously on Theater Camp and has appeared in Bradley Cooper’s Is This Thing On?. She is set to star alongside Brett Goldstein and Jennifer Lopez in the Netflix film Office Romance.
Thiele also featured in Theater Camp, and more recently, he has been recognized for his roles in Adults and Overcompensating, as well as the independent film Idiotka.
Harper, part of the cast in Chand Wilack’s Roommates, is represented by CAA and Untitled Entertainment. Wakim, a former cast member of SNL, is repped by UTA and Strig Artist Management.
Consani, who appeared in music videos for Doja Cat and Charli XCX, made headlines as the youngest transgender model in 2015 and was the first trans model to win the Fashion Award for Model of the Year in 2024. She gained popularity with comedic TikTok videos during the pandemic and is represented by Underscore Talent.
