The long awards season, which began in earnest with the Cannes Film Festival in May, will culminate on Sunday, March 15, with the 98th Oscars. Presenting the event will be Conan O’Brien, who returns as host for the 2026 ceremony at the Dolby Theatre in Ovation Hollywood.

How to Watch the 2026 Oscars
The ceremony starts on Sunday, March 15, at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT, airing live on ABC and available to stream on Hulu. It will also be accessible through Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, AT&T TV, and FuboTV, with many of these services offering free trials. Additionally, the event will broadcast internationally in over 200 countries and territories.
Hosted by Tamron Hall and Jesse Palmer, the official Oscars Red Carpet Show will air live on ABC and Hulu at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT.

ABC News and its Owned Television Stations will present On The Red Carpet at the Oscars on Sunday, starting at 3:30 p.m. ET/12:30 p.m. PT. Lara Spencer will lead the coverage, joined by anchors Whit Johnson and Linsey Davis, entertainment reporter George Pennacchio, WABC’s Joelle Garguilo, and ABC News contributor Chris Connelly.
E!’s Oscar broadcast begins at 2 p.m. ET/11 a.m. PT with E!’s Brunch at the Oscars, hosted by Justin Sylvester and Keltie Knight. This will be followed by E!’s Live From The Red Carpet at 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT, and they will conclude their coverage with Red Carpet Rundown at 10:30 p.m. ET/7:30 p.m. PT, analyzing the night’s fashion.

Presenters for the 2026 Oscars include last year’s lead and supporting actor winners Adrien Brody, Mikey Madison, Kieran Culkin, and Zoe Saldaña, alongside Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Anne Hathaway, Will Arnett, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Javier Bardem, Demi Moore, Kumail Nanjiani, Maya Rudolph, Chris Evans, and Chase Infiniti.
Performances at the 2026 Oscars
This week, the Academy confirmed that several Oscar-nominated songs will be performed. The KPop trio, Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami, will sing “Golden,” while Miles Caton and Shaboozey will perform “I Lied to You,” featuring ballerina Misty Copeland. Producers are also reportedly in talks with Barbra Streisand about a tribute to the late Robert Redford during the In Memoriam segment, although this has yet to be confirmed.
Key Nominees at the 2026 Oscars
This year’s Best Picture nominees include Ryan Coogler’s Sinners, leading with a record-breaking 16 nominations. Following closely are Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another with 13 nominations, as well as Frankenstein, Marty Supreme, and Sentimental Value, all with nine. Other nominees include Hamnet with eight and Bugonia, F1, The Secret Agent, and Train Dreams with four. Meanwhile, Avatar: Fire and Ash and Blue Moon have each earned two nominations.
Nominees for Actress in a Leading Role are Jessie Buckley ( Hamnet), Rose Bryne ( If I Had Legs I’d Kick You), Kate Hudson ( Song Sung Blue), Renate Reinse ( Sentimental Value), and Emma Stone ( Bugonia).
Nominees for Actor in a Leading Role include Timothée Chalamet ( Marty Supreme), Leonardo DiCaprio ( One Battle After Another), Ethan Hawke ( Blue Moon), Michael B. Jordan ( Sinners), and Wagner Moura ( The Secret Agent).
Nominees for Actress in a Supporting Role include Elle Fanning ( Sentimental Value), Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas ( Sentimental Value), Amy Madigan ( Weapons), Wunmi Mosaku ( Sinners), and Teyana Taylor ( One Battle After Another).
Lastly, nominees for Actor in a Supporting Role are Benicio Del Toro ( One Battle After Another), Jacob Elordi ( Frankenstein), Delroy Lindo ( Sinners), Sean Penn ( One Battle After Another), and Stellan Skarsgård ( Sentimental Value).
