A Quiet Place Part III Starts Filming in NYC: Exciting Times Ahead!
Filming has commenced for the third installment of the A Quiet Place franchise, set against the vibrant backdrop of New York City.
John Krasinski, who returns as the writer, director, and producer of A Quiet Place Part III, announced the launch of production on Saturday via Instagram. He shared a photograph featuring the film slate in front of the iconic Manhattan Bridge Arch and Colonnade located in Chinatown.
“Here. We. Go! #Part III,” Krasinski captioned the post.
Cillian Murphy will reprise his role as Emmett from Part II, alongside new cast members Jack O’Connell, Jason Clarke, and Katy O’Brian in the upcoming film.
Krasinski originally directed and starred in A Quiet Place as Lee, the husband of Evelyn, who makes the ultimate sacrifice for his family amid an alien invasion that targets sound as its hunting mechanism. Despite his character’s death, Lee continues to resonate in flashbacks during Part II, which Krasinski also directed.
In 2024, Michael Sarnoski took the helm for A Quiet Place: Day One, set in New York City and featuring a cast that includes Lupita Nyong’o, Joseph Quinn, Djimon Hounsou, and Alex Wolff.
