A Look Inside Rocco DiSpirito’s Pop-Up Dinner Experience
Celebrity Chef Rocco DiSpirito Hosts Exclusive Dining Experience in Los Angeles
On May 14, renowned chef Rocco DiSpirito welcomed 150 guests to a sold-out event at the historic Engine Co. No. 28 restaurant. The evening showcased a multi-course meal inspired by recipes from his latest cookbook, Everyday Delicious.
The event was presented by Ruffino Wines and featured esteemed guests, including Paul Stanley of KISS and celebrity DJ Dan Cortese. Brand representatives from Ruffino introduced carefully selected wines for each course, enhancing the dining experience with insights into their pairings.
The culinary journey began with Fried Rice Balls with Mozzarella, complemented by Aqua di Venus Rose. This was followed by Tuna Furikake Crudo, paired with Aqua di Venus Pinot Grigio. Guests then enjoyed DiSpirito’s classic Spaghetti Carbonara, which was served alongside Ruffino Reserva Ducale Oro Chianti Classico Gran Selezione.
For the main dish, attendees were treated to Butterscotch-Glazed Short Ribs of Beef with Taro & Truffle Mash, highlighted by Greppone Mazzi Brunello di Montalcino. To finish the evening on a sweet note, Tiramisu was served with Modus Primo Toscana IGT. Refreshments included still and sparkling waters from Mountain Valley Spring Water.
Each participant received a gift bag featuring a signed copy of DiSpirito’s cookbook, along with gourmet culinary products from Bona Furtuna, such as candied lemon biscotti and Balsamic Vinegar of Modena.
This event marks the third installment in a series of Celebrity Chef Pop-Up Dinners, following successful gatherings with notable chefs like Giada DeLaurentiis and Spike Mendelsohn.
