Flora Vesterberg Announces Pregnancy via Instagram
Flora Vesterberg, the granddaughter of Princess Alexandra, has revealed her pregnancy on Instagram, marking a joyful addition to the British royal family. The announcement was made on January 19, and Flora currently stands 61st in line to the British throne, making her a second cousin once removed to King Charles III.
In her Instagram post, Flora expressed her excitement, stating, "Delighted to share that Timothy and I are expecting our first child. We’re truly over the moon." She also acknowledged her father, James Ogilvy, for capturing the moment in a photograph showcasing her and her husband, Timothy, alongside her developing baby bump.
In addition to her royal lineage, Flora is an art historian and currently a PhD student, while Timothy is a former professional hockey player now working in private equity. The couple wed in 2020 at St. James’s Palace, followed by a "blessing of the marriage" ceremony in 2021. Reflecting on their wedding, Flora described it as “a very emotional and intimate experience that Timothy and I both feel incredibly grateful for.”

The impending arrival of the couple’s child will place them 62nd in line to the throne. Last November, in celebration of their fifth wedding anniversary, Flora and Timothy enjoyed a royal-style babymoon at an art museum in Sweden. For the occasion, Flora donned a creation by her wedding dress designer, Phillipa Lepley, known for designing outfits worn by notable figures, including Kate Middleton.

Flora has noted the thoughtful design behind her anniversary ensemble, inspired by the Stockholm archipelago, with details representing the region’s smooth waters and blue skies. As the couple prepares to welcome their first child, their growing family is sure to attract attention within the realm of the British monarchy.
