Aiden Ross Wins Season 28 of The Voice: Celebrating His Journey to Victory

Aiden Ross, a contestant on Team Niall, emerged victorious in the season 28 finale of The Voice on December 16, solidifying his coach Niall Horan’s undefeated record.
“You’re a really down-to-earth, lovely guy who’s gifted. I wish you the best, bud,” Horan remarked prior to declaring Ross the champion.
During the show, Ross expressed gratitude to Horan for his support, stating, “The most important thing he’s taught me is to love what I’m doing and be glad that I’m doing it. Love you, man.”
Ross faced stiff competition from fellow Team Niall contestant DEK of Hearts, along with Aubrey Nicole from Team Reba, Ralph Edwards from Team Snoop, and Jazz McKenzie and Max Chambers from Team Bublé. Edwards finished as the runner-up.

At 20 years old, the College Station, Texas native earned the first four-chair turn of the season during his blind audition with Adele’s “Love in the Dark.” Horan praised Ross’s performance, stating, “It was literally like you had written the thing. When you hit some of those bigger notes, you hit them with ease.”
“I’ve worked with similar voices to yours and had some success on the show previously. If you don’t pick me, I wish I could turn this chair around and never turn it again,” Horan joked during the blind auditions.
A Texas A&M student, Ross took to Instagram to share a heartfelt message with Horan, expressing, “I’m speechless. So blessed to be able to share such a special moment with you guys, the best is yet to come! Thank you @niallhoran for taking a chance on me, let’s get busy. Thanks, and Gig’em 😉.”
The season 28 finale of The Voice was broadcast on NBC on December 16.
