Notably, Carl Reiner once praised Brooks during a 1963 appearance on *The Tonight Show*, describing him as “the funniest person I know.” This sentiment was echoed by Reiner years later, who remarked, “He can’t split the atom, but he can create energy through laughter,” and hailed Brooks as “the funniest man in the world.”
