Early Sunday, a gunman opened fire at a Hanukkah celebration in Bondi Beach, resulting in at least 15 fatalities and 40 injuries. Authorities identified suspects as a father and son; the 50-year-old father was shot and killed by police on the scene, while the 24-year-old son remains in critical but stable condition.
On Saturday, another tragic incident occurred at Brown University, where two students were killed and nine others were injured. Police have apprehended a person of interest, described as being in his 20s.
