Paige DeSorbo, known for her role on Summer House, has successfully transitioned from reality TV to fashion entrepreneurship with the launch of her loungewear brand, Daphne. The brand, inspired by her own love for comfort and style, aims to fill a niche in the market for cozy yet chic apparel.
Since her departure from the Bravo series, DeSorbo has focused on creating pieces that reflect her idea of "bed rotting," a term she uses to describe lounging in comfortable clothing that still looks fashionable. “I followed my gut and brought on the right team to design silhouettes that are too good to not wear outside,” DeSorbo shared, emphasizing that her vision resonated immediately with her team.
In line with her vision, DeSorbo recently unveiled a summer collection designed specifically for warm evenings in New York City and summer getaways. Among her favorites from the collection are the “Heatwave Bralette” and the “Sunkissed Skort,” both of which she describes as effortlessly stylish.
“One of my girlfriends said, ‘When I’m wearing Daphne, I want to get things done’ — and I couldn’t agree with that more,” she expressed, highlighting the brand’s empowering approach to loungewear.
The Daphne line also features versatile pieces like the “Overnight Shirt,” which DeSorbo considers ideal for both casual lounging and professional settings, such as Zoom meetings. The design ethos of the brand heavily leans into the idea of making pajamas suitable for everyday wear.
Historical context for the brand reflects DeSorbo’s personal connections, particularly with signature pieces inspired by her friends, including the oversized "Hannah Tee," which was modeled after a beloved but worn-out t-shirt of her podcast co-host, Hannah Berner.
As the brand continues to gain traction, it has attracted attention not only from fashion enthusiasts but also from various celebrities. Notably, Kourtney Kardashian starred in a joint campaign with Daphne earlier this spring. Additionally, actress Jennifer Garner has been spotted wearing the “Golden Night Sweatshirt,” garnering further visibility for the brand.

DeSorbo’s creative influence, however, may extend beyond her human connections. The brand’s namesake is her ragdoll cat, Daphne, whom she playfully suggests might be aware of her significant role in their shared fashion journey.
