Jury Duty is Coming Back for Season 3 on Amazon!
Amazon has renewed the hit comedy series Jury Duty for a third season, continuing its search for unsuspecting participants.
The announcement follows the recent release of the show’s second season, which introduced Anthony Norman alongside Ronald Gladden, both of whom were unwitting participants in the series’ unique prank format.
Peter Friedlander, Amazon’s Global Head of TV, shared the update during the company’s upfront presentation, though he did not disclose any details about the setting for the upcoming season, maintaining the show’s mysterious premise.
Watch on Deadline
Jury Duty‘s initial season explored the dynamics of an American jury trial through the perspective of juror Ronald Gladden. Unbeknownst to Gladden, the case was entirely fabricated, with all other participants, including actor James Marsden, playing roles in a carefully constructed scenario.
The second season, titled Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat, shifted the focus to a corporate offsite event at a family-owned hot sauce company, observed through the eyes of Anthony, a newly hired temporary worker. Like the first season, Anthony was unaware that his colleagues were actors, and that each interaction—whether in meetings or during breaks—was meticulously planned. As the company faces pivotal changes with the founder’s impending departure, the retreat becomes a battleground between corporate aspirations and the core values of small business.
