Police Discover Body While Confiscating Large Fireworks Cache in West Adams
A body was discovered in West Adams following the removal of a significant amount of fireworks from a garage, according to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).
The find occurred early Saturday morning, around 6 a.m., in the 2400 block of 9th Avenue, where officers had responded to an investigation centered on the property.
While clearing the fireworks, which were deemed a potential hazard, officers stumbled upon the deceased individual. The circumstances surrounding the individual’s death remain unclear, and authorities have not released any identifying information.
The LAPD has deployed its bomb squad and arson investigators to further examine the scene and gather additional details regarding the incident.
