Rihanna Shows Off Special Tattoo Created by Her Kids After the Met Gala
Rihanna Unveils Heartwarming New Tattoo Designed by Her Children
Rihanna has recently added a sentimental tattoo to her collection, inspired by the artwork of her children. The tattoo was revealed on Instagram by her celebrity tattoo artist, Bang Bang, also known as Keith McCurdy.
Posting on Friday, just days after Rihanna attended the 2026 Met Gala with partner A$AP Rocky, Bang Bang shared a series of video clips showing the singer getting the new ink on her leg. He captioned the post, “Family tats @badgalriri. Designed by her babies ♥️.”
In the videos, Rihanna can be seen with a comfortable demeanor as she lie down for the tattooing process, sporting a casual black hoodie and sunglasses. The artwork featured the children’s original scribbles, carefully recreated on her leg, alongside a reference drawing decorated with Paw Patrol stickers.
As a mother of three, Rihanna shares her sons RZA, 3, and Riot, 2, along with her 8-month-old daughter Rocki with Rocky. After the tattoo was completed, a snapshot captured her looking at the new ink in a mirror, standing on her tiptoes.
Fans expressed their admiration for the tattoo’s heartfelt significance. Comments flooded in, with one fan saying, “Imagine looking back at it when they will be older 🥹 the cutest mom ❤️,” while another remarked, “the most beautiful meaning!!! 🩷.” Others took a lighter approach, playfully highlighting the reference artwork, particularly the Paw Patrol stickers.
Rihanna, 38, is known for her extensive tattoo collection, boasting over two dozen designs, many of which have been inked by McCurdy. Among them are significant symbols, including her birth year and an Egyptian falcon, a piece of art for which she once reportedly teared up due to the pain.
Her latest tattoo emerges shortly after her striking appearance at the Met Gala, where she wore a dazzling metallic gown by Maison Margiela, complete with an ornate jewel-studded bodice and iridescent elements. Accompanied by Rocky in a chic Chanel smoking jacket, the couple turned heads on the red carpet, further solidifying Rihanna’s position as a fashion icon.
This new ink not only signifies her love as a mother but also showcases her unique approach to body art, blending personal stories with artistic expression.
