LISA from BLACKPINK Turns Heads at the 2026 Met Gala with Her Stunning Four-Armed Look

As a member of BLACKPINK and one of K-pop’s most sought-after performers, LISA found herself in a unique position at the 2026 Met Gala, literally wishing for an extra set of hands.
In a video released by Vogue on May 5, LISA, along with her stylist and designer Robert Wun, provided an insider’s view of how her striking avant-garde look came together. The footage, filmed during the final fitting before the gala, showcased LISA as she donned a pair of white mannequin-like arms — created from a 3D scan of her body — secured like a backpack. The team experimented with various jewelry pieces adorning her artificial fingers and wrists.
“I am nervous for tomorrow, because my extra arms are really heavy,” LISA remarked. “He said it’s 1.8 kilo, but I don’t think so. I think it’s heavier than that — but I have to fight through it.”
The ensemble was completed with a sheer white veil held aloft by the additional arms, resulting in a theatrical appearance that LISA elegantly showcased on the red carpet at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on May 4. Prior to the event, she expressed concern, stating, “I don’t want to trip tomorrow!”
All four members of BLACKPINK attended the 2026 Met Gala, although LISA, along with JISOO, JENNIE, and ROSÉ, chose to walk the carpet individually. This marked LISA’s second appearance at the prestigious event, whose theme this year was “Costume Art,” with a dress code of “Fashion Is Art.”
