Four Million Dollars in Stolen Cargo Recovered in Vernon
Detectives Arrest Suspect in $4 Million Cargo Theft in Vernon
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD) detectives have arrested an individual linked to the theft of $4 million in cargo from freight operations in Vernon. The stolen goods encompassed a variety of items, including nicotine pouches, televisions, footwear, printers, cooling equipment for data centers, speakers, and skincare products.
The theft impacted eight companies, including ALP Drifter Nicotine, Footlocker, Epson, Deepcool AI, Renkus-Heinz, and Medicube AUlta Beauty.
Following the apprehension, the suspect faces charges of receiving stolen property. LASD detectives are collaborating with various law enforcement agencies, retail crime task forces, and federal authorities on efforts to both track down further suspects involved in retail theft and recover the stolen merchandise.
