Éanna Hardwicke Teams Up with Channing Tatum and Eve Hewson in Amazon MGM’s Racing Film ‘Isle Of Man’
Éanna Hardwicke Joins Cast of Amazon’s ‘Isle of Man’ Film
Éanna Hardwicke, known for his role in A Very Royal Scandal, has secured a position in the cast of Isle of Man, a film from Amazon MGM Studios. He will star alongside Channing Tatum and Eve Hewson in this cinematic portrayal of the renowned motorsports event.
The Isle of Man TT is celebrated as the oldest continuously running motorsport event in the world, predating both Formula 1 and MotoGP.
Details regarding the characters and overall plot remain confidential, but the film is directed by Reid Carolin, with a script co-written by Jason Keller, known for Ford v Ferrari, and Bryan Johnson. Producers for the project include Tatum and Carolin’s Free Association, Brad Pitt’s Plan B, and Entertainment 360’s Guymon Casady.
In addition to the narrative film, the production team is developing a docuseries focused on last year’s TT Races. This series promises unprecedented access to the riders and events, resulting from an exclusive partnership with the race promoters. Box to Box Films, recognized for the series Drive to Survive, is also involved in the docuseries.
Hardwicke, a BAFTA-nominated actor, received acclaim for his performance in BBC’s The Sixth Commandment, for which he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor. He also won the Lead Actor award at the Irish Film and Television Awards. Hardwicke’s previous credits include Normal People and A Very Royal Scandal, and he is currently featured in Saipan and No Ordinary Heist.
Looking ahead, he will appear in David Turpin’s upcoming film Ancestors, as well as Make Ends Meat, a sequel to Hoard directed by Luna Carmoon. Hardwicke is represented by Curtis Brown, Susannah Norris Agency, UTA, and Multitude Media.
