Coachella will see a notable absence during its second weekend as DJ and producer Rezz has announced her cancellation due to health concerns.
In a statement shared on X on Tuesday, April 14, Rezz explained, “My body has been whispering for a while that I need a real break. But I continued to push thinking it would be fine.”
Rezz performed at the festival’s Sahara Tent on the second day of its first weekend. Although the schedule for weekend two has yet to be released, her 9:10 p.m. set during the first weekend lasted nearly an hour, suggesting she might have had a favorable time slot for her next appearance. Despite this, she emphasized the necessity of her decision, although she did not elaborate on the specifics behind it.
“I have to put my health first, as things going on need to be addressed,” she stated. Apologizing to fans for her absence, Rezz promised to upload her full weekend one set to YouTube soon, saying, “I love u all, I hope u understand.”
She later expressed that her healing would be a “process,” adding her gratitude for the opportunity to perform at Coachella, while stating, “now it’s time to focus on my health.”
Rezz’s weekend one performance marked her second appearance at Coachella. In 2018, she made headlines as the first woman to headline the Sahara stage, which is known for showcasing prominent EDM artists.
Looking ahead, Rezz is slated to take the stage at several other festivals this year, including the Breakaway Music Festival in Columbus, Ohio, next month and Tomorrowland in Flanders, Belgium, in July. However, she has not yet provided updates regarding her remaining 2026 performances.
