Candace Owens Responds to Trump’s Truth Social Post with Epstein Class Remarks
Candace Owens Critiques Donald Trump Over Recent Remarks
In a pointed response to Donald Trump’s recent comments, political commentator Candace Owens has voiced her disapproval, asserting that Trump’s influence over the MAGA movement is waning. In a YouTube video released on Friday, April 10, Owens stated, “MAGA is no longer commanded by you and you know it. You belong to the Epstein class. That is your legacy now.”
Owens accused Trump of “fundamentally disloyal” behavior, claiming that this disloyalty could erode his support. “People will not fight beside, behind or for someone who is fundamentally disloyal,” she remarked. “If disloyalty and deceit is in your nature, then I highly suggest you combine it with silence.”
Additionally, Owens criticized Trump’s values, suggesting he prioritized wealth over integrity. “You chose money above respect, and what an absolute shame you chose to do that toward the end of your life,” she said. “You can’t take money, and things and stuff with you when you go. Just your soul … and you sold yours for what … another gilded ballroom?”
Her remarks were made shortly after Trump had taken to his TruthSocial platform, targeting Owens and several other media figures critical of him. He described Owens, Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, and Alex Jones as "low IQ" individuals who misinterpret international affairs. "Look at their past, look at their record," Trump stated. “They don’t have what it takes, and they never did!”
In her defense of Carlson and Kelly, despite their past disagreements, Owens challenged Trump’s claims of their intelligence and influence. “You can call Megyn Kelly a great many things,” she defended. “Tucker Carlson is more powerful than you. Deep down, I think you know and resent that which is proven as we read on.”
Owens argued that Trump’s generalizations about education do not resonate with his support base, which includes many who are blue-collar workers. “Many who never so much as even dreamed it. The farmers, the ranchers, the plumbers, the electricians — the people who work with their hands. You now stick your nose down to all of these people.”
As tensions rise between these prominent figures, the implications for the Republican Party and its supporters remain uncertain.
