Los Angeles Police Search for Man Accused of Stabbing Parents
Los Angeles police are actively searching for 32-year-old Adam Courtney Brown, who is alleged to have stabbed his parents multiple times early Monday in the San Fernando Valley. Both victims sustained significant life-threatening injuries, though they are reported to be in stable condition.
Emergency responders arrived at Ventura Boulevard in Woodland Hills following reports of the stabbing. Upon arrival, they found Brown’s parents suffering from multiple stab wounds. According to investigators, Brown fled the scene after inflicting serious injuries on the victims.
Authorities indicate that Brown frequently uses public transit and may have connections to Hollywood, Palmdale, and Woodland Hills. As of now, his current location and intended destination remain unknown, along with any potential motive for the attack. Police have not confirmed whether Brown is still in possession of the weapon used in the assault.
In a public statement, police described Brown as dangerous and advised the public not to approach him. Detectives are collaborating with transit authorities to review surveillance footage in an effort to track his movements across the Los Angeles Metro system.
The LAPD’s Major Assault Crimes unit is currently processing evidence and following up on tips from the community. Residents in Hollywood and Palmdale are advised to remain vigilant and report any sightings of individuals matching Brown’s description near transit stations.
Anyone with information regarding Brown’s whereabouts is urged to contact the LAPD Topanga Division at 818-756-3264.
