Trump Urges MAGA Supporters to Boycott Bruce Springsteen After Criticism of ICE
Donald Trump Slams Bruce Springsteen Following Concert Criticism
Former President Donald Trump has intensified his campaign against musician Bruce Springsteen, who recently launched his tour in Minneapolis. During the concert, Springsteen delivered a scathing critique of the American government, prompting Trump to respond with a fierce post on Truth Social.
On Thursday, Trump stated, “Bad, and very boring singer, Bruce Springsteen, who looks like a dried up prune who has suffered greatly from the work of a really bad plastic surgeon, has long had a horrible and incurable case of Trump Derangement Syndrome.” He further disparaged Springsteen, labeling him a “total loser” who expresses animosity toward a President he claims won a “Landslide Election,” including the popular vote and all seven swing states.
Trump continued his critique, asserting, “Under Sleepy Joe and the Dems, our Country was DEAD, and now we have the ‘hottest’ Country, by far, anywhere in the World. MAGA SHOULD BOYCOTT HIS OVERPRICED CONCERTS, WHICH SUCK. SAVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY.”
The team at Billboard has reached out to Springsteen’s representative for a response.
Springsteen’s concert on March 31 marked the beginning of his "Land of Hope and Dreams" tour in Minneapolis. He underscored the significance of the location by recalling the events surrounding the deaths of civilians Renee Good and Alex Pretti in January, stating, “federal troops had brought death and terror to the streets of Minneapolis.” He expressed his commitment to remember their bravery and sacrifice.
Additionally, Springsteen condemned Trump’s presidency, referring to it as “corrupt, incompetent, racist, reckless, and treasonous.”
This latest attack is not the first from Trump, who labeled Springsteen a “loser” in February after the musician released a song opposing ICE titled “Streets of Minneapolis.” Trump has previously criticized Springsteen, particularly on Truth Social during the early months of his return to public office.
