Cooler Weather Ahead for Southern California: Rain Expected Midweek

Monday Weather Overview
The week commenced with fog and increased cloud cover across LA County, though there were occasional sunny intervals. Moody attributed the cooler temperatures to an area of low pressure moving through Southern California.
Tuesday Forecast
On Tuesday, a gray start to the day is anticipated, with light showers possible. Temperatures are expected to hover in the 60s and 70s. Moody indicated that while Ventura County may experience a few stray showers during the morning, more widespread precipitation could occur by late afternoon.
“I think this is going to come in pretty scattered, but we’ll continue to see more rain heading in our direction into Tuesday night,” she explained. Although there is a chance for rain, most areas are expected to see minimal accumulation, likely under half an inch.
Wednesday Outlook
By Wednesday morning, light showers should dissipate quickly, with only a few residual showers lingering during the day. Moody indicated that by the afternoon, the prospects of rain will diminish.
Thursday to Sunday Forecast
As the week progresses, Thursday will see a slight increase in temperatures as the light rain recedes. By Friday, warmer weather is anticipated, with clearer skies setting the stage for a warm and dry Easter weekend.
Looking toward Saturday and Sunday, spring temperatures are expected to rise again, reaching highs in the 80s and 90s in certain areas. According to Moody, Easter will bring warm and sunny conditions, perfect for outdoor activities.
