Christina Gonzalez from FOX 11 Gets a Dodgers Tattoo to Keep Her World Series Promise
Christina Gonzalez Completes Dodgers Tattoo During Opening Day Coverage
LOS ANGELES – FOX 11 reporter Christina Gonzalez has fulfilled her promise to add a Dodgers-themed tattoo, completing her design during live coverage of Opening Day. The tattoo marks an extension of a previous "D" she had inked on her back last season, reflecting her commitment to the team.
To finish the tattoo, Gonzalez visited Broken Hearts Tattoo LA, where artist Alias Zala was able to accommodate her request amid a busy schedule of clients. The session was broadcast live on the FOX 11 Local streaming app, bringing fans along for the experience.
Gonzalez recalled her decision to get the initial "D" tattoo amid last season’s tense moments for the Dodgers. With the team’s successful World Series run, she promised to complete the design. The artist, well-regarded in the tattoo community with over 80,000 followers on Instagram, completed the work swiftly, ensuring a comfortable experience for Gonzalez.
To ease her nerves, two pugs accompanied her as emotional support during the session. Following the quick and relatively painless process, Gonzalez expressed a desire to incorporate additional elements into her tattoo in the future.
With the Dodgers aiming for three consecutive championships, Gonzalez joked about the possibilities for future designs. "Either way, GO Dodgers!" she exclaimed, showcasing her unwavering support for the team.
