Harry Treadaway Becomes a Series Regular in Amazon MGM’s ‘Bishop’
Harry Treadaway, known for his role in Mr. Mercedes, has secured a series regular position in Bishop, a new thriller produced by Amazon MGM Studios. The show is co-created by Little Marvin and Tony Saltzman.
Treadaway will take on the character of Wyatt, although specifics about the role remain confidential. Joel Kinnaman and John Malkovich will lead the cast, joined by Jennifer Jason Leigh and Jordana Brewster.
Bishop centers on Bishop Graves, portrayed by Kinnaman, a skilled and battle-tested homicide detective. He faces a dangerous killer targeting San Francisco’s elite and grows increasingly convinced that the murders are linked to his own powerful father, Lincoln Graves, played by Malkovich.
Little Marvin serves as the showrunner and executive producer alongside Saltzman. This project is part of Marvin’s overall deal at Amazon MGM and follows his previous success with the horror series Them. The executive production team also includes Roy Lee and Miri Yoon from Vertigo, as well as casting director Felicia Fasano.
Treadaway has been active in the acting industry for two decades and is widely recognized for his television work. His recent roles include Dr. Hunter in the Paramount+ psychological thriller Chemistry of Death, Narek in Star Trek: Picard, Brady Hartsfield over two seasons of Mr. Mercedes, Victor Frankenstein in Penny Dreadful, and Roddy Llewelyn in The Crown.
Recently, Treadaway starred in The Grapes of Wrath at the National Theatre in London. He will next appear in Susanna White’s drama Prima Facie, based on the play by Suzie Miller. The English actor is represented by Principal Entertainment and Sequel Management.
