Jesse Welles Shares Exciting News About the 2026 Red Tour
Folk Musician Jesse Welles Announces Summer and Fall Headlining Tour
Folk artist Jesse Welles is set to embark on a new headlining tour this summer and fall, aptly named the "Red Tour." This tour takes its name from Welles’ song of the same title, featured on his upcoming album, Middle, which is scheduled for release in February 2025.
Kicking off on July 24 in Birmingham, Alabama, the tour will conclude on October 26 in Columbus, Ohio. Stops along the way include major cities such as Kansas City, St. Louis, and Los Angeles.
An exclusive artist pre-sale for tickets will begin on Wednesday, March 25, at 10:00 a.m. local time. This will be followed by a Live Nation pre-sale for select dates starting Thursday, March 26. Fans are encouraged to sign up for a free Live Nation All Access membership for early ticket access. The general ticket sale will commence on Friday, March 27, also at 10:00 a.m. local time.
Joining Welles on the tour will be special guests Ratboys, Steph Strings, and Hudson Freeman, who will perform at select shows.
This tour announcement comes as Welles continues his "Under the Powerlines" tour. Earlier this month, he made headlines with the live debut of his protest song, “Sometimes You Bomb Iran,” during a performance in North Carolina. Moreover, Welles showcased his song “Join ICE” last November on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
Recently, Welles garnered four nominations for the 68th Annual Grammy Awards, including Best Folk Album for Under the Powerlines, Best Americana Album for Middle, and nominations for Best American Roots Songs and Best Americana Performance.
