James Tupper Makes Directorial Debut with Romantic Drama ‘Open Up’
James Tupper, known for his roles in Big Little Lies and Revenge, is stepping behind the camera for his feature directorial debut with the romantic drama Open Up.
The film features Parker Sack, who also penned the screenplay, along with Jessi Case from Murdaugh: Death in the Family.
Open Up revolves around a couple who engage in a relationship card game in an attempt to deepen their bond. However, the game leads them to confront challenging truths that put their connection to the test. Principal photography has commenced in Los Angeles.
Produced by Olivia Frasco, Open Up gains additional backing from executive producer Andy Fraser. This project is a collaboration between Praetorian Pictures, Alma Roja Productions, and A Really Good Home Pictures.
