Williams gained prominence for his role as Dr. Jackson Avery in 277 episodes of Grey’s Anatomy. His Broadway debut in Take Me Out earned him a Tony Award nomination for Featured Actor – Play in 2022.
In August, Williams appeared in the Amazon Prime Video series Hotel Costiera, which quickly reached the #1 spot on the platform. On the film front, he co-starred in Max’s The Great Lillian Hall alongside Jessica Lange and Kathy Bates. In addition to his acting career, Williams has produced several critically acclaimed projects, including the 2020 Oscar-winning short Two Distant Strangers (Netflix), Norman Lear’s EPIX docuseries America Divided, and the Sundance-nominated short Hoops, Hopes and Dreams, which premiered on Hulu this past January.
