New Trailer and Character Posters for ‘Dune: Part Three’ Coming This Tuesday
Trailer for Dune: Part Three Set to Release Soon
The highly anticipated trailer for Dune: Part Three is scheduled to debut on Tuesday. Fans are already gearing up for the next installment of this epic saga, with lead actor Timothée Chalamet unveiling his character poster on social media on Monday. Shortly afterward, Warner Bros released a series of new character posters, which also included the announcement of Isaach de Bankolé joining the cast as Farok.
Exciting details surrounding the film are beginning to surface, including anticipated announcements about additional cast members and the fates of key characters, such as Chalamet’s Paul Atreides and Zendaya’s Chani. Fans are also eager to learn more about Rebecca Ferguson’s role in this chapter.
Set for release on December 18, 2026, Dune: Part Three is based on Frank Herbert’s 1969 novel, Dune Messiah. Director Denis Villeneuve reportedly filmed the project last summer, utilizing Imax cameras for portions of the shoot.
Anya Taylor-Joy, who made a brief appearance at the end of the previous film, will portray Chalamet’s younger sister, Alia. Alongside her, multiple character posters revealed Robert Pattinson, Taylor-Joy, and de Bankolé.
The Dune franchise, produced by Legendary, has quickly become a multi-format science fiction phenomenon, extending beyond its initial two feature films—2021’s Dune: Part One and last year’s Dune: Part Two, which collectively grossed over $1.12 billion and garnered eight Oscars from 15 nominations, including Best Picture nods for both films.
The latest addition to the universe is the prequel television series, Dune: Prophecy, created by Alison Schapker. Set 10,000 years prior to Paul Atreides’ rise to power, the series debuted on HBO and HBO Max in November and has received critical acclaim.
